Welcome to Rosebud Radio - Reclaiming Family Entertainment

girl with radioRosebud Radio is a radio station. An Internet radio station. Our genre isn't classic rock, or jazz or live talk. Our genre is Old Time Radio (OTR), also known as The Golden Age of Radio.

Our Mission is to recreate for you the home entertainment experience of the 40's and early 50's. It was a time when families would gather around the radio and listen to the latest episodes of classic shows like Dragnet and Fibber McGee and Molly.

Back then, there were no autopsy shows. No blood and guts police dramas. And most certainly no shows with "Sex" actually in the title.  There were no violent video games. No iPhones.  No WIIs.  No PlayStations.  In fact, the radio WAS the play station.

The Golden Age of Radio gave us an escape from the horrors of war and gave us comfort in the dangerous peace that followed.

So, unplug the TV.  Hide the WII and PlayStation from the kids and grandkids (or your husband).  And give us a listen.

And, please, sign our Guestbook and join our Community.  When it comes to Old Time Radio, there's a lot to talk about

One more thing - you won't find any OTR programs for download here.  When you click the Listen button, you'll be hearing live streaming content.  We're here to give you an experience.
